Urology

Urology is an area of medicine which focuses on diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive tract.

Our urology consultants are highly experienced professionals who can treat, manage and carry out procedures affecting the bladder and the reproductive system. This includes day case procedures such as circumcision, cystoscopy, simple scrotal surgery, and frenuloplasty.

NHS patients can be referred to Tetbury Hospital Trust by their GP who will ensure we are included as an option on the NHS eRS.

Private patients who are self-funding or have private medical insurance can receive specialist urology care by speaking to our private patient team. You may be asked for a referral from your GP.

Circumcision

A circumcision is a surgical operation to remove the foreskin from the penis. This procedure is available to adult patients for medical purposes only.
