Our volunteers play a critical supporting role as we strive to deliver excellent care and service to our patient community.
Our volunteers are an integral part of our permanent team, enhancing the experience of our patients, visitors and colleagues. Feedback tells us it is very rewarding, especially the new skills and confidence working as part of a supportive team gives.
Who can be a volunteer?
Anyone who is over 18 years of age can apply to be a volunteer. You do not need any special experience. Please note, you may be subject to a background check.
What does being a volunteer involve?
We have different volunteering opportunities across the Hospital, with roles to suit anyone who has a passion for people and wants to give something back. You may like to meet and greet patients, help our administration team or work within our estates team to maintain our Hospital for patients and visitors.
What hours will I need to work?
Hours are flexible and we can work around your other commitments. We do ask you to commit to a minimum period of six months.

Once we have received your application, we will invite you in for interview to learn more about you and match you with the right volunteering role.
