Fundraising helps support our hospital so that we can continue to deliver clinical excellence and outstanding patient care.
When the NHS-run Tetbury Hospital was threatened with closure in the late 1980s, Tetbury residents and the local community raised over a million pounds to re-establish it as a charitable entity called Tetbury Hospital Trust Ltd. The Friends of Tetbury Hospital was established at the same time.

His Majesty King Charles III has chosen to retain his patronage of Tetbury Hospital Trust.
It follows a review of more than 1,000 Royal patronages by the Royal Household following The King’s Accession in September 2022.
Through his patronage of Tetbury Hospital Trust, The King has taken a keen and active interest in supporting our work to enable us to continue to deliver outstanding patient care to the local communities we serve.
For over 30 years, King Charles has shown unwavering dedication as the Patron of Tetbury Hospital Trust, demonstrating strong support for the local community.
We are a charitable independent healthcare provider, not part of the NHS, so we must purchase vital new and replacement medical equipment and invest in capital projects ourselves. We are only able to do this through fundraising which means that every donation we receive no matter how big or small, makes a real difference.
We welcome one-off as well as regular donations that can be made online, or by sending us a cheque in the post. You can also leave a legacy gift to our hospital in your will.
