Cardiology

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the heart and the cardiovascular system.

Our specialist cardiologists are highly experienced in treating, diagnosing and managing conditions affecting the heart and blood vessels. They can perform a variety of diagnostic tests such as an echocardiogram (ECG) or fitting a Zio® cardiac monitor. If further treatment or specialist surgery is required, they may refer you to their clinic in a nearby hospital for continuity of care.

NHS patients can be referred to Tetbury Hospital Trust by their GP who will ensure we are included as an option on the NHS eRS.

Private patients who are self-funding or have private medical insurance can receive specialist cardiology care by speaking to our private patient team. You may be asked for a referral from your GP.
