About the role
Are you passionate about delivering high quality patient centred care in a well-equipped and established day surgery unit? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Theatre Practitioner to join our committed team of clinicians and consultants on a permanent basis for 37.5 hours per week. The hospital comprises of a well-equipped theatre and purpose-built procedure room. You’ll be working with a compassionate clinical team committed to delivering the best in care and rated Good by the Care Quality Commission. As we continue to expand the services we offer, we are seeking a registered Operating Department Practitioner/Theatre Nurse with experience of scrub, theatre runner, anaesthetics and recovery.

We are looking for an experienced Theatre Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner who is HCPC registered and able to demonstrate current clinical skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A passion for providing high quality care
- Evidence of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- A flexible approach to work, and a positive attitude
An additional teaching/assessing qualification, audit skills and previous experience in a wide range of surgical specialities would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
