Welcome to our Private GP Service at Tetbury Hospital, providing appointments for both adults and children to discuss your health concerns at a time convenient to you.
Our GPs offer a rapid access service across the week, and, where required, fast onward referral to the right private specialist.
Private GP Consultation £95.00 (30 minute appointment).
Additional services include blood tests, X-rays and scans (including referral for MRI and CT), ECG, vaccinations, medical reports and well-woman and well-man checks.

Dr Victoria M Blackburn MBBS (Lond) DRCOG DFFP
Victoria trained at UCL (Middlesex Hospital 1988-1993). She undertook house jobs in Gloucester and Bath before doing VTS training at Cheltenham and Gloucester Royal Hospitals. She is currently a 3/4 time partner in general practice at The High Street Medical Centre in Stonehouse and has worked there since 1997. She has experience of working in the media, having contributed regularly to BBC Radio Gloucestershire (2011-2015)and written for magazines.
She is interested in all aspects of family health with a specialist interest in weight management, family planning and menopause.
Dr Mark Porter MBE MB BS DA DCH
Mark is a half time NHS GP principal at Culverhay Surgery in Wotton-Under-Edge. He has worked in the NHS in Gloucestershire both in hospitals and primary care since 1990. During the rest of the week Mark works as a medical journalist. He currently presents BBC Radio 4's Inside Health and has been the medical correspondent for The Times since 2009.

Dr Richard Probert MB BS BSc MRCGP
Richard trained at St Thomas' Hospital London. He worked in several London teaching hospitals in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Public Health, HIV and STI medicine, Adult Medicine and Paediatrics. He completed his GP training in Gloucestershire and lives in Tetbury.
He joined the Culverhay Surgery in 2001, and is the senior partner, he is also a board member of GDOC Ltd.

Dr Claire Rigby MB BS DRCOG DFFP
Dr Claire Rigby grew up in Wiltshire before moving to London to study at St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College. After qualifying in 1991 she worked in hospital medicine before training as a GP. She currently works as a GP partner at Spa Medical Centre in Melksham.
Dr Rigby has special interests in women's health, contraception, carpal tunnel surgery, nutrition and weight management.
