Mr Gupta treats NHS and private patients at Tetbury Hospital Trust.
Mr Gupta completed his medical degree in India in 1982 and went on to complete his ENT speciality training with a fellowship in head and neck cancer. In 1989 he went to the USA to do a fellowship in otology research before coming to the UK for further training, with special interest in nasal and sinus diseases.
He has practised as a consultant in the UK since 2000 and been a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Great Western Hospital and the Ridgeway Hospital in Swindon since 2003. He is an adult and paediatric ENT specialist, providing a general ENT service with a subspecialty interest in problems of the nose and sinuses, allergy management, snoring and sleep apnoea.
Aside from his clinical interests, he has been involved in training, clinical research and the introduction of patient-friendly initiatives. Other senior leadership positions he has held for many years include serving on the Southwest Senate and as Director of Medical Education. He is the founder and director of the HELM Leadership and Management Programme.
