Mr Smith treats NHS patients at Tetbury Hospital Trust.
He is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery. He graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 2009. He completed his foundation training in South Wales and then secured run-through trauma and orthopaedic training in the Severn Deanery.
Following this Mr Smith was awarded a prestigious national Training Interface Group (TIG) Fellowship in Hand Surgery from the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and honed his skills at St John’s Hospital learning from expert plastic and orthopaedic surgeons.
Mr Smith currently works as a full-time consultant at the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Swindon. He takes an active role in clinical research and has published a number of international research publications.
