An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Hospital Cleaner (fixed 6-month term maternity cover) to join the team at Tetbury Hospital on a part time basis 15 hrs per week, 5pm-8pm Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays. 

Job Summary
We’re looking for highly motivated individuals to join our friendly and hardworking housekeeping team who are prepared to go the extra mile to maintain cleaning standards in our minor injuries unit, theatres and clinics. A clean hospital environment is essential for providing a safe healthcare environment for our patients so as a member of the housekeeping team you will play a vital role in our hospital and the wellbeing of our patients.  

Successful applicants’ will:  

• Demonstrate a flexible approach to their workload 
• Work quickly and to deadlines 
• Show high standards in the quality of their work 
• Be able to work to COSHH guidelines 
• Able to work to infection control guidelines 
• Communicate well with colleagues, patients and the public 
• Enjoy working as part of a team 

Full training will be provided, but previous cleaning experience would be desirable, ideally in a hospital or medical environment.

The Package
We can offer an hourly pay rate of between £ 9 P/hr. The Hospital offers staff benefits which include pension scheme (continuation in the NHS pension is possible subject to pension rules) and a starting full-time holiday entitlement of 25 days holiday (plus Bank holidays). Additional information

As part of this role you will be required to complete mandatory training.
