Vacancy Emergency Nurse Practitioner/ Advanced Paramedic Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Paramedic Practitioner to join the Minor Injuries Unit at Tetbury Hospital.

The Opportunity

As an ENP/APP, you will be vital to the Units’ success, assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging patients autonomously every day. As well as ordering investigations and interpreting results, you’ll be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public accessing urgent care services. You will be responsible to the Hospital’s Matron and work as part as a skilled close-knit team.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working autonomously. To be successful in this role you will have extensive recent experience in acute / primary care nursing and face to face patient care; possibly gained in another Emergency Nurse Practitioner role or a related role such asa HCPC Paramedic. You will have Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice. You will be a RGN/Paramedic currently and will hold (or be willing to work towards) a recognised Emergency Nurse Practitioner qualification including illness and injury, and Independent/supplementary prescribing (V300) (or equivalents).

Ideally you will be on the on NMC/HCPC register as prescriber, although support is available to obtain this. You will be able to demonstrate recent PREP.

The Package

We can offer flexible hours on a part or full-time basis up to 37.5 hours per week, with an hourly pay rate of between £19.22 & £ 22.39 P/ hr.

This role is a Grade A (NHS Band 7 equivalent).
