Tetbury Hospital Trust is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting programme of work beginning at the end of October 2025 to upgrade our X-ray system with cutting-edge technology that delivers high-resolution imaging. This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to providing the highest standard of diagnostic care to our community.
As part of the upgrade, we will also be reconfiguring access to the X-ray room to ensure improved accessibility for all patients requiring imaging services.
During the renovation period, our Minor Injuries and Illness Unit (MIIU) will remain fully operational for injuries and illnesses. However, patients requiring an X-ray will be directed to a neighbouring MIIU centre for imaging and may return to us for continued care. Alternatively, patients may choose to receive their full treatment at another unit.
The programme is expected to run for approximately 16 weeks with a planned reopening in February 2026. We will continue to share progress updates via our website and social media channels.
If you are unsure about where to go or what services are available, please contact our MIIU team directly for guidance.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to enhance our facilities for the benefit of all patients.
Together with the Friends of Tetbury Hospital, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported our X-ray fundraising campaign. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we have successfully raised over £135,000 over the past 18 months, bringing us closer to completing this vital upgrade to our imaging services.
We are still fundraising for our X-ray upgrade, so if you would like to support us, it is not too late to donate using our X-ray campaign button at www.friendsoftetburyhospital.co.uk.
We are here for you!
