Orthopaedics (hand & wrist)

Hand and wrist orthopaedics is a specialised area of medicine that focuses on the treatment of problems with the hands and wrists

Our orthopaedic consultants are highly experienced in treating conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, specifically conditions affecting the hand and wrist. They carry out procedures in our Day Surgery Unit or procedure room to treat nerve decompression, trigger finger release, Dupuytren’s disease and carpal tunnel syndrome.

NHS patients can be referred to Tetbury Hospital Trust by their GP who will ensure we are included as an option on the NHS-e-RS.

Private patients who are self-funding or have private medical insurance can receive specialist orthopaedic care by speaking to our private patient team. You may be asked for a referral from your GP.
