Hospital Grade L (Band 8a equivalent) £44,606 to £50,819 PA

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Tetbury Hospital Trust for an enthusiastic Management Accountant,  In this role you will be part of the Senior Management Team and report to the Chief Executive.

In this role you will be the sole Management Accountant and responsible for the Trusts accounts ensuring that the Trust complies with all of its financial reporting and statutory requirements. You will manage the accounts department, produce and report the management accounts to the Board of Trustees on a monthly basis, you will complete year end accounts and help with the production of the annual report and financial statements for Companies House and our Charities AGM. You will work closely with the management team to prepare budgets and assist in the delivery of cost improvements where possible.  

To apply for this role you will be an experienced CCAB / CIMA qualified or part-qualified accountant (or have equivalent relevant experience) and will be able to use your expert knowledge of financial accounting (including accounting standards and financial controls, processes and systems) to contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Trusts financial systems and processes. Knowledge of NHS financial reporting process would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of NHS payment by results and knowledge of the differing regulations and reporting requirements by our various statutory authorities (including the Charity Commission, the Companies Act and Private healthcare legislation and NHS rules and regulations). Working knowledge of Sage 50 is desirable.
