Vacancy - Cleaner/Housekeeper

An opportunity has arisen for a Cleaner to join the team at Tetbury Hospital.

There are 15 hrs per week available, ideally to be worked 5pm-8pm Monday – Friday with very occasional Weekends. However other working days/ hours up to 15 per week can be considered.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and hardworking housekeeping team who is prepared to go the extra mile to maintain cleaning standards in our minor injury unit, theatres, and clinics. A clean hospital environment is essential for providing a safe healthcare environment for our patients so as a member of the housekeeping team you will play a vital role in our hospital and the wellbeing of our patients.

Full training will be provided, but previous cleaning experience would be desirable, ideally in a hospital or medical environment.

The Package

We can currently offer an hourly pay rate of £ 9.13 P/hr and a pay award is pending for this role. The Hospital offers staff benefits which include pension scheme (continuation in the NHS pension is possible subject to pension rules) and a starting full-time holiday entitlement of 25 days plus Bank holidays. Additional information

As part of this role you will be required to complete mandatory training.
