Location: Tetbury Hospital – Outpatients/Day Surgery
Salary: Band O (NHS band 2 equivalent).
Hours: 24 hrs per week
Salary: £9.50 to £10.19 (NHS Band 2)
Pattern of work: Monday to Saturday
Type of contract: Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join the team at Tetbury Hospital on a permanent, part time basis - 24 hours per week.
The post holder’s prime responsibility is to assist in helping care for patients who attend day surgery or outpatient services.
The post holder will work under the supervision of a clinical lead and will ideally have the following:-
• Excellent communication skills
• A caring nature to deliver excellent care
• The ability to work as part of a team but also to work independently.
• Flexible and positive attitude
• NVQ2 or equivalent, previous experience in phlebotomy, ECG and Minor Ops skills would be desirable but not essential
• As part of the role, you will be required to complete mandatory training
