An opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Nurse / Care Practitioner to join the team at Tetbury Hospital on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

The Opportunity
In this role you will be vital to the Minor Injury Units’ success, assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging patients autonomously every day. As well as ordering investigations and interpreting results, you’ll be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public accessing urgent care services. 

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will: 

• Be a registered Nurse with a relevant clinical degree or equivalent experience 
• Have a Relevant post Registration Qualification i.e. Emergency Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Care practitioner or equivalent. 
• Hold a Teaching and Assessment qualification or relevant experience at level 3 
• Hold qualification in Minor Illness Management  
• Be a non-medical X ray refer and up to date calrad/irmer 
• Have attained Resuscitation Level 3 adult and children and completed safeguarding adults and children at an appropriate level.  

Previous competition of non-medical prescribing, management training or minor injury minor illness in children would be beneficial.

The Package
We can offer flexible hours up to 22.5 hours per week, with an hourly pay rate of between £ 15.55 & £ 19.06 P/hr. This role is a Grade T (NHS Band 6 equivalent). The Hospital offers staff benefits which include pension scheme (continuation in the NHS pension is possible subject to pension rules) and a starting full-time holiday entitlement of 25 days holiday (plus Bank holidays).
