Mr Caesar treats private patients at Tetbury Hospital Trust.
He is a consultant eye surgeon specialising in modern refractive cataract surgery, oculoplastic reconstructive, oculoplastic cosmetic and lacrimal surgery. He trained in medicine at Cambridge University and then Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, qualifying in 1992. Mr Caesar studied ophthalmic surgery followed by fellowship training in Oxford, specialising in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery before moving on to Melbourne, Australia for further fellowship training. He was awarded his certificate of completion of specialist training in 2001 and joined the General Medical Council Specialist Register.
Mr Caesar was appointed an NHS Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon to the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in September 2003 and additionally operates for Tetbury Hospital Trust.
He teaches cataract and oculoplastic surgery to an international audience and was included in the Best for Eyes list in the Tatler Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Guide 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Find out more at richardcaesar.co.uk
